About Me
I learned to play the violin at Winckley Square Convent School in Preston - my wonderful teacher was Miss Watson. I played for 7 years before leaving school. It did not occur to me to continue the violin as there was no occasion to. I spent my time outside my career playing badminton by and large until recently when physically it was becoming too demanding. I had always vowed that my violin would be taken up again once the badminton was finished. So here I am now after a break of 26 years making life a misery for my husband and little boy with my version of the first violin part's as directed by Phoenix Strings. I also play guitar (well I did until John Foster pointed out my thumb nail was too long - even though I had just cut it really short - now I can't play the guitar but I can hold my bow much better!) I used to play bass guitar in a band when I was much younger although if I discover one lying about I can still surprise people!!
